• Lanier Middle School students continue to perform at high levels on district and State assessments.
• Lanier Middle School’s robotics program won the State VEX Robotics Championship and competed at the World Championship in Dallas, TX, continuing a tradition of competitive robotics teams.
• Lanier LIVE engaged families in unique curriculum-based activities, hosting over 1,000 attendees.
• Parent workshops engaged families in the threats of social media, digital citizenship, and college, career, and military opportunities for students.
• Lanier families celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a breakfast led by the school's Parent Liaison and parent volunteers.
• Lanier Middle School launched the Student Community Service Initiative, which included participation in cleaning the shores of Lake Lanier and the Sugar Hill Greenway, engaging in Sugar Rush and our cluster's showcase event, and participating in events serving the North Gwinnett Co-Op.
• With 18 students, a record number of Lanier Middle School Choral students qualified for District Honor's Chorus. Two Lanier Middle orchestra students were named to the All-State Orchestra. Lanier Middle School fine arts students engaged in numerous activities with industry professionals throughout 2023-24.
• The GCPS Caring Award was presented to a Lanier Middle School student.
• Lanier Middle School launched a student-led café, Louie's On-The-Go, to increase community-based learning opportunities for Special Education students and to promote inclusivity.
• Two Lanier Middle School students’ artwork was displayed at the Capital Arts Exhibit at the State capital, showcasing the talent of the Lanier community; 28 students had work displayed in Tapestry, and many others were recognized during the Lanier Cluster Showcase and Lanier High Arts Exhibit in downtown Sugar Hill.
